Squidbrain. Last updated 18 June 2026.
By creating an account or using Squidbrain ("the service") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Squidbrain helps you capture, edit, and move audio samples between your phone, your desktop, the web editor, and your music software. It is a private utility for moving your own audio to your own devices: audio passes through our cloud only temporarily to reach your devices, and the service does not provide public hosting, sharing, streaming, or distribution. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to record and use any audio you pass through the service.
Squidbrain is currently provided as a beta, on an "as is" basis. Features may change, be interrupted, or be removed, and occasional faults are expected. Do not rely on the service as the only copy of audio that matters to you โ keep your own backups.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country (and at least 16).
You keep all rights to the audio you create or upload. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, process, and transmit that audio in order to operate the service for you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any audio you upload.
Don't use the service for anything unlawful, don't upload material that infringes others' rights, and don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or circumvent the limits or security of the service.
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, particularly during beta.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and our liability for any loss arising from your use of the service is limited to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
